This figurine of a young boy was modelled by Goebel master sculptor, Gerhard Bochmann, inspired by the artwork of Lore Hummel. A butterfly has alighted on his finger and he is carrying a basket and a posy of flowers, the petals and leaves of which have been individually applied by hand. The figurine carries the Goebel backstamp, the incised marks Lore 247, 1970, and the handwritten mark 1/776. It measures 7¾ inches in height and comes in excellent condition.
