DOULTON Limited Edition Figure - King EDWARD VI HN4263. This superb and rare Royal Doulton figure of the young King Edward VI. Known as the boy king, Edward was the only surviving son of King Henry VIII. Edward became king in 1547 at the age of nine, but he reigned for only six years before his death at the age of 15. The figure was modelled by Pauline Parsons.

It was issued in 2000 in a limited edition of 5000 pieces. This figure is number 284 of the edition. This piece stands 8¼ inches tall. It has a Royal Doulton backstamp with limited edition details. It comes with its original certificate.
