A striking fine bone china figurine by Coalport, titled Lady Helen - By Royal Command. This elegant piece captures a poised young woman in full evening dress, exuding grace and refinement. The figure is beautifully modelled wearing a dramatic, floor-length gown in rich shades of violet and deep purple, the glossy finish enhancing the fluid movement of the fabric as it cascades to the ground.

The bodice is delicately shaped and embellished with subtle detailing, while the full skirt flares outward in sweeping folds. She is further adorned with a soft white stole draped around her arms, along with finely painted jewellery and a small tiara, completing the sense of regal sophistication.

This design was created by Elizabeth Emanuel, renowned for co-designing Diana Princess of Wales's iconic wedding dress in 1981. Her influence is evident in the opulent styling and couture-inspired detailing of the gown. The figure itself was expertly sculpted by John Bromley, known for his elegant and lifelike figurative work. Issued in 2002 to mark the Golden Jubilee year and commissioned by Compton & Woodhouse, this piece was produced in a limited edition of just 7,500 examples, adding to its desirability among collectors.
