The sense of movement is beautifully achieved, with her outstretched arm and arched form suggesting both weightlessness and momentum, as if she is gliding just above the surface. The modelling is exceptional: her flowing hair streams back as though caught in a current, while the softly draped gown billows behind her in translucent, water-like folds. Beneath her, the base is richly detailed with curling waves and a leaping fish. The colour palette is delicate yet vivid, featuring soft sea-greens and pale aquas in the gown, blended seamlessly into deeper blues and lilac tones in the water below.
Modelled by John Bromley and based on an original design by Sue Cashmore, this figurine was issued in a very small limited edition of just 1,000 pieces, making it a desirable and increasingly scarce collector's piece. It comes complete with its original wooden plinth, original box, and certificate of authenticity. The box shows some minor wear consistent with storage. The figurine measures approximately 21 cm tall excluding the stand and is presented in great condition throughout.
