Of 9,500 from the Legends of the Nile collection, sculpted by John Wincentzen, this Wedgwood figurine depicts Nefertiti, the 14th-century BCE Egyptian queen famed for her beauty and influence. As Great Royal Wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten, she played a key role during his religious revolution promoting the sun god Aten. Best known from her iconic painted limestone bust, a symbol of Egyptian elegance.
